This podcast however, features a different story every day about “different incredible women from throughout history.” Each episode is between five and 10 minutes, but packed to the brim with “stories of women you may or may not know — but definitely should.”

Glamour Magazine mentioned the Encyclopedia Womannica as their top pick of the best podcasts for women. However, since we included that show at the beginning of this post, we’re sharing their second choice of the Our Body Politic podcast.

What drew the magazine to this show is that it “covers issues affecting U.S. women of color, from the perspective of U.S. women of color, in a super-smart way. It manages to be both a political and cultural cheat sheet, and extremely listenable.” The show was created by and is hosted by award-winning journalist Farai Chideya.
